#9002 Day or Evening Cap
The fashion of wearing an indoor cap began a long time before the Civil War. When worn for breakfast, these caps would be made of muslin and lace. As a more formal dinner headress, the caps were made of silk net or tulle richly ornamented with lace, ribbons or flowers.
Fashionable cap with wired front band which adjusts at the neck. Cap is trimmed with lace and ribbons.
